Negative Space is an tower sculpture that was constructed for optimal viewing in low-light settings. It is in part and shadow-machine and in part a silhouette-machine. As shadow-machine a single ghost light is place in its center. As silhouette-machine bright light is shot into it from above or below. It is photographed here with light cast into if from above.
The reason for the two lighting possibilities is that I want flexibility in installing this sculpture.
The tower is just a little under 8-feet in height and is 32-inches in diameter.
