About Obscura I

This is the first creation in my series of Obscura sculptures. This piece is an extension of an interior turmoil I was feeling at the time of its creation. Indeed this sculpture is sort of an embodiment of turmoil. What I assessed in creating, and for a short time living with this piece, is that there is a beauty to turmoil, and interestingly, this intended 'turmoil embodiment' has a rather calming presence.
