About Red Mountain I

This Red Mountain sculpture is a part of my Mountain series, which consists of archetypal spiraling vertical forms. Created for a collector in Los Angeles, Red Mountain I was made as a request to for a larger variation of a smaller White Mountain piece. I love the elegant and graceful sweep of the form in his series of sculptures. In this series I may see the best evidence in my catalog of the idea that 'simple is best'.
