About Awakening

This sculpture is a part of the tradition of organic, flowing, mirrored sculptures I create such as Hubris and Ice Flame and Ophidian (which can also be seen on this site).

Awaken represent a continued exploration of my material and the forms that can be created with it; and also pushing the limits of Chrome and Nickel plating. This sculpture, along with a companion piece not pictured, are among the most organic, single-component, mirrored forms I have created.
