About Pororoca 1

Hand-formed acrylic sculpture inspired by wave motion. My acrylic sculptures are typically studies of form in motion. This sculpture is inspired by the concept of the Pororoca, the tidal bore that travels up the Amazon River and deep inland. While forming this, I considered all the currents and eddies that form as surging water flows around the roots of tress and moss covered stones.
