This is the first 2-dimensional, wall-hung sculpture I made. I wanted to capture the motion and feeling of ripped, tattered, distressed metals in a setting more like a painting. The frame is made of steel and the elements within the frame are aluminum and brass fastened with stainless steel button head bolts. In a way, this is a study of something inorganic made organic – metal sheet made something more (or less).
FOREST SILHOUETTE has been the nursery for many ideas behind sculptures I have made since its creation. Look through this Web site and it will become obvious.
