About Turquoise Orchis

Turquoise Orchis is an Orchis-series sculpture inspired by the environment and culture of northern Mew Mexico. At their hearts, the Orchis sculptures are the products of my encounters with alpine flowers in the mountain of the western Unites States, however; since I created the Orchis form, I find that it interacts with new inspirations. This particular sculpture is a blending of the forms I love with a region I love.
