About Lost Orchis

Lost Orchis was inspired by the wildflowers that surround Lost Lake, an alpine lake located at 10990 feet in elevation in the Mummy Mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. I spent several nights camping there in the summer of 2019. It was alpine wildflowers that inspired the very first Orchis sculpture I created, as well as all those in the Orchis family which continues to grow and evolve.
