About Peralta Canyon in Red

As my previous sculpture titled Kasha Katuwe is an interpretive landscape of the Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument in New Mexico, so it this sculpture. Peralta Canyon is the canyon one travels to approach the Tent Rocks. The 'Red' in the title obvious and is reminiscent of the beautiful cliff formations at sunset. This piece was made for a special collector for whom my connection with reminds me of why I became a sculptor.
