About Ristra I

Ristra 1 is a Flutter-series sculpture that is an interpretation of a pepper ristra. I spend a great deal of time in the Santa Fe and Taos regions of New Mexico, and my time there has inspired many sculptures over the years. The countless pepper ristras I have seen hanging from lovely and interesting houses during my visits have always intrigued my sense of design.
