About Metro-scape

METROSCAPE is a wall-hung sculpture that falls into what has been called the 'Metal Quilt' series of my work. I created this piece to have the energy of a dense, evolving city. I used metals, woods and plastics - materials of a city.

Rusted metal and shiny metal reflect a blending of the old and new. The romance of wood elements has been added, however, in a very small quantity, and a generous amount of 'non-romantic' plastics have been used to various ends.

All elements are bolted together.
