About Geometric Overstory #1

Geometric Overstory #1 is made of aluminum and colored Plexiglas. All of the shapes are rectangular and are bolted together. The Plexiglas was chosen to add color that would appear to glow when light shined through it. At first this sculpture was designed and installed ceiling-hung, suspended flat from a ceiling with overhead light making the that Plexiglas glow. It was eventually purchased to be wall-mounted.
